Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I co-direct the Center for Global Agenda (CGA) at Unbuilt Labs, which is
holding a global stakeholder consultation process for a UN publication on
the methods non-state actors can use to support sustainable development. We
have been organizing the Future of Global Governance Series workshops as
part of the global stakeholder consultation process, one of which will be
at the UN General Assembly Science Summit on living labs (29th Sep). I will
be speaking at another session too with Global Diplomacy Fellows from
UNITAR and UN General Assembly President’s HOPE Fellows (15th Sep) on the
future of sustainable development, multilateralism, and science diplomacy.

The Center for Global Agenda at Unbuilt Labs is publishing position
statements ahead of the Science Summit. Statement 2 (Strategy)
for example, recommends shifting from a macro-level strategy focused on
climate change to a micro-level strategy focused on Health for All
presented by the World Health Organization (WHO), to increase
accountability and highlight benefits at an individual level. This right to
health framework includes (1) access to affordable health care including
essential drugs, vaccinations, as well as mental health support, and (2)
global and local responses from state and non-state actors to address
underlying social determinants of health for the better. We continue to
emphasize the connections between sustainability, sustainable development,
as well as Health for All, and we offer our unreserved support towards
climate action as part of our recommendations.

Other statements include, Statement 1 (Preamble)

Statement 3 (Culture)
Statement 4 (Economics)
and Statement 5 (Systems)
with forthcoming statements on subjects such as mental health, risks,
peace, and governance. Please feel free to connect or share any
recommendations as well! We encourage everyone to submit a statement with
your recommendations to our public archives at CGA here:
