Hi everyone,
Another pre-conference message.
Some of our colleagues at Newcastle have planned an interactive workshop, especially aimed at conversations around gender, race and precarity, and we'd like to direct your attention to it.

The workshop (which takes place on Wednesday, 15th June) focuses on a dialogue across women's gendered and racialised experiences of precarity, alienation and uncertainty, in the academy (but especially in IR). Centring the voices and experiences of participants, the organisers have planned the day around small-group discussions, networking and building a community of interlocutors, aimed at carving out new spaces for praxis and new ways of working collectively against the grain of increasingly hostile and racist institutions.

Please see below for links to blog posts by the organising collective, that give further details on topics they'd like participants to be thinking with; and for registration to the workshop itself.

See you all soon,
Your CPD co-conveners
