This is a call for paper for RGS-IBG 2022 Annual Conference’s themed session Encountering Lefebvre: Sensing and appropriating the neoliberal city. We welcome all urban studies scholars whose work have been inspired by Henri Lefebvre, in particular, in rhythamanalysis or right to the city. We argue, his theoretical lenses are now more crucial than ever in understanding the production of space in the (post-Covid19) contemporary neoliberal city. Our session is sponsored by the Urban Geography Research Group of RGS-IBG. Please send us your abstract (up to 300 words) at [log in to unmask] by Friday 17th March 2022. We aim to organise one session in-person (in Newcastle) and one session online (please specify your preference).
