Hi,

I have today reached out to Ex Libris as well to ask for an update/timeline following our initial query and will let you know when I have an update.

If you need any additional support please do raise a support ticket.

Hi Ted

I raised it with ExLibris on 20th December and received:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I have reported this issue to the development team and linked this case to the ticket in development, so that we can let you know when the underlying issue is resolved.

Stay safe and healthy!

I chased them on Monday and haven't had an update. I'm not sure how we see 'the ticket in development' to check progress.  I also thought I had sent a message to the Summon mailing list but it doesn't seem to have reached it.  Have you access to that mailing list?

Regards

Catherine

Hi all,

I note that this hasn’t been addressed by Ex Libris yet – has anyone had a response from them yet? We raised a ticket with them today adding our voice to the institutions affected, but I don’t know how many institutions use both Summon and Talis (and how many of those have noticed the issue).

Hi All,

As Kristy says, Talis have reached out to Ex Libris directly to explain the impact that Summon missing COinS (Z3988) is having on people bookmarking to their lists, and asking for their assistance. With the Christmas break, we suspect they have not had a chance to respond to us as yet.

There is no specific need to raise a ticket with Talis as we will just be pointing you back toward Summon for where the fix needs to take place. Having said that, if you do have a specific question or concern, then a ticket is definitely the way to go to let us know.

Many thanks

Tim

Hi all

Hope you had a good break over Christmas and best wishes for the new year.

Just a shout out to any Summon customers, we had an upgrade on 15 Dec which has broken the COinS (z3988 span in the page code) for print bookmarking. We’ve an active ticket with Talis and they’ve contacted Ex-Libris directly however if you’ve been impacted could you raise tickets with Ex-Libris and Talis too please to identify affected users and help raise the priority for resolution.

Many Thanks

Kristy
