A huge thanks to everyone that has filled out my survey in the past month. If you or someone else in your department/institution has not already done so, I would be most grateful if you would consider completing the below survey, which is open for another two weeks.

The average time of completion is 5 mins and 18 seconds: proof that I wasn't lying when I said it would be quick!

For those that are interested, I am intending to write up the results after the survey closes on 1 February.

Many thanks,
Gemma

Hi there,

Apologies for cross-posting...

I am hoping that those of you working in organisations/institutions with rare books and special collections will be willing to complete this very short (promise!) survey about the application of library ownership stamps on materials:
https://forms.office.com/r/UA9MX9P89N

This survey will attempt to gauge whether the practice of organisations applying ownership markings directly to special collections materials is still widespread.

The survey is primarily concerned with library stamps, such as ink and blind stamps, which likely cause irreversible 'damage' to items but is also interested in other ownership markings that may be applied, such as pencil markings: these other markings can be detailed in the final question, 'would you like to add anything?'

I am leaving the survey open until 1 February as I realise that many are taking the opportunity for an extended break this year

Happy holidays & thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Gemma
