Hello,
We’re looking for a part time sparkling science writer to join our First Create The Media crew. You’ll be working within our creative team to produce high-quality written content that meets our clients’ needs and requires minimal editing. You should have a higher degree (PhD preferred) or equivalent in a life sciences field and a good knowledge of other relevant fields, with proven experience of client-focused writing across a range of content types. Experience of writing press releases and thought leadership pieces/op-eds would be desirable.

Location: Home-based working with occasional in-person meetings
Hours: 2-3 days per week/0.4-0.6FTE (flexible or specified days), with the possibility of increasing as workload expands.
Salary: £35-£40,000 FTE, depending on experience, plus monthly home-working allowance and bonuses depending on overall company performance
Contract: Permanent, with 3 months probation period
