Keynote Speakers
We will have three exciting talks by our Keynote Speakers for ECTQG 2021 https://wordpress.com/page/ectqg2021.wordpress.com/95 :
* Prof Rachel Franklin, Centre for Urban and Regional Development Studies, Newcastle University
* Prof Mike Batty, Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, University College London
* Prof Luis Bettencourt, Mansueto Institute, University of Chicago
The Colloquium
Initially scheduled to take place in Manchester, UK, ECTQG 2021 is scheduled to happen fully online, to avoid ongoing limitations to international travelling and also to ensure that all participants have a good experience at this moment of change.

We are committed to organising an engaging and exciting colloquium that will deliver the same possibility of academics and researchers coming together and discussing the key issues in theoretical and quantitative geography, replicating as much as possible online the vibrant environment of a regular ECTQG.

The ECTQG 2021 is an event organised with the support of the Spatial Policy and Analysis Lab https://www.mui.manchester.ac.uk/spal/ of the Manchester Urban Institute https://www.mui.manchester.ac.uk/ , with the support of Manchester’s Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence http://www.datascience.manchester.ac.uk/ .
ECTQG 2021 has also the valuable support of the Urban Analytics programme of the Turing Institute https://www.turing.ac.uk/research/research-programmes/urban-analytics .

We are looking forward to meeting you at the ECTQG 2021 online in early November 2021.

Kind regards
Nuno Pinto, on behalf of the Manchester Organising Committee
