Dear Friends and Comrades, My new book, *Service Workers in the Era of Monopoly Capital *has been published with Brill. The book uses Marxist economics to analyse the production of surplus-value in service industries such as cleaning and hospitality, as well as its realisation in the retail sector. The book tries to envision what service work will be like under socialism by using the experience of former socialist countries.
