LSE Fellow in Geography and Environment
Salary from £36,647 to £44,140 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £47,456 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment for 13 months – estimated start date of 1st September 2021 in the UK, but no later than 20th September 2021.
The Department of Geography and Environment is seeking a full-time LSE Fellow in Geography and Environment. The successful candidate will join one of the world’s leading geography and environment departments, which enjoys very strong international student demand across a wide range of graduate and undergraduate programmes.
The successful candidate will contribute to the administrative and teaching duties of the Department at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to the research profile of the Department by maintaining own research programme and participating in research seminars and meetings.
The successful candidate will preferably have a PhD in a relevant subject or be close to completing it. In addition, the successful candidate will have a relevant background and expertise in the field of human geography and environmental studies, whose work could include, but is not limited to, global development, urban socio-natural politics, and political ecology . Some experience of university-level teaching is essential.
