The Relational Research Network is an international network of students, researchers and practitioners interested in exploring research from a relational perspective. In this video series, you hear from people working with a relational research process and learn about related values, concepts, and practices.

The videos below are part of the 20+ interviews conducted in English* and Spanish*, which explore research that focuses on dialogic, collaborative, appreciative and relational processes. Each month, we introduce new videos and invite you to share them with anyone interested in these ideas and practices. We hope that you'll join the conversation by posting comments directly on the YouTube pages or by visiting www.taosinstitute.net/relational-research-network!

A conversation with Duane Bidwell, Ph.D.
In this video, Duane names identity, agency, and possibility as touchstones for his approach to relational research that guide the questions researchers ask and the ways in which they embody relationships that are attentive to differences of power. Researchers should work constantly to decolonialize and decolonize themselves to avoid replicating harmful patterns during the research process. Because research is value-laden, Duane says, the questions we ask, and the ways we ask them, create or block possible futures. Research shapes what the world becomes. Read more.
