Dear BFE members,



The Department of Music at the University of Aberdeen welcomes PhD
applications in the areas of musicology, ethnomusicology and composition.
In particular, we are pleased to announce the next round of the New Kings
Scholarships, hosted by the School of Language, Literature, Music and
Visual Culture.



   - The scholarships cover *a fee waiver with an annual stipend of £6,000*
   .
   - From 2021-22, we will consider *all applicants regardless of their
   nationality*.
   - There are two deadlines to meet:
      - The PhD application to the University Admission Portal should be
      submitted by *10 May 2021.*
      - The New Kings Scholarship Online Application should be completed by *4
      June 2021*.
