The training will be held on Wednesday 28^th of April, 10am-12.30.

Meaningful consultation with children and families

 

Do you want to consult with children and families to improve your provision, but aren’t sure how to do this in a meaningful way?

 

About this Event

During this training webinar, we will explore a range of techniques for consulting children and families. Hear best practice examples from National Museum Wales and Cynon Valley Museum.

 

Play Trainer and Consultant Charlotte Derry, who has worked with Happy Museum and Play Wales, will also provide top tips for playful consultation with this audience.

This training event will be delivered virtually over one half day session (two hours and 30 minutes with a short break). Run in partnership with the Federation of Museums and Art Galleries of Wales.

 

Who should attend?

This training is aimed at staff and volunteers who work in museums, art galleries and heritage sites in Wales who are interested in exploring ways to meaningfully consult with children and families. Open to Welsh museums only.

Ymgynghoriad ystyrlon gyda phant a theuluoedd

 

Ydych chi eisiau ymgynghori gyda phlant a theuluoedd er mwyn gwella eich darpariaeth, ond dydych chi ddim yn siŵr sut i wneud hynny mewn ffordd ystyrlon?

 

Yn ystod y gweminar hyfforddi hwn, byddwn yn archwilio amrywiaeth o dechnegau i ymgynghori â phlant a theuluoedd. Cewch glywed enghreifftiau o arferion da gan Amgueddfa Cymru ac Amgueddfa Cwm Cynon.

Bydd yr Hyfforddwr a’r Ymgynghorydd Chwarae Charlotte Derry, sydd wedi gweithio gyda The Happy Museum a Chwarae Cymru, yn rhoi awgrymiadau da hefyd ar gyfer gwneud ymgynghoriad chwareus gyda’r gynulleidfa hon.
