CSIS Slavery and Heritage Consultancy Job: Policy and Partnerships Scoping Survey
Job Description:
Dr Laura Sandy, co-director of the Centre for the Study of International Slavery (CSIS) is currently seeking to employ a consultant to support a
CSIS Policy and Partnerships Scoping Survey for a long-term project: ‘Creating and Connecting Slavery Museums, Exhibitions, and Resources.’ This work will involve supporting the organisation of a workshop and steering group of academics, heritage professionals,
UK Anti-Slavery Commission, stakeholders. You will participate in an online workshop on 25th March, which will discuss and co-develop the objectives and key themes for scoping survey. As consultant, you will put together a report of the steering
group’s discussion and use this, in combination with further research, to develop and disseminate a scoping survey using the Delphi Process to evaluate stakeholder views of current UK government policy, agendas, and engagement regarding historic and contemporary
slavery and its presentation within the UK heritage sector. Please see the attached document for more details.
