Job Opportunity - IT Data Analyst

Are you a problem-solver, able to use your knowledge of data analysis and information technologies to draw insights from data? Can you share your findings and conclusions with different internal audiences, from technical details to high-level insights? Could you use, build and maintain a wide variety of data analysis methods: tools, techniques, systems, scripts, and practices?

Our IT Operations Department is looking for an IT Data Analyst, in order to develop and improve its data-led information security and management systems and processes, and to support business insight, processes and decision-making. You will provide a data analysis service that turns data into information, information into insight, and insight into security outcomes and business decisions.

We have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate data analyst to deliver this service working within our IT security and assurance team, alongside information management and security professionals, and in collaboration with colleagues in IT Operations and across the wider organisation. This role combines IT security analysis and business data analysis, and would be well suited to someone with knowledge of either or both of these disciplines.

You will bring a logical and methodical approach to solving complex, diverse and unusual problems; developing and maintaining analytical, procedural and technical systems and processes that are robust and supportable. You will specialise in data analysis and processing, with knowledge and understanding of IT and information security. You will be motivated to discover more about our processes and our data, and identify where your analysis skills can be most effective.
