Dear Colleagues,
SAGE has commissioned us to assemble an international group of contributors
and a prestigious Editorial Advisory Board to develop a large volume on our favourite topic,
Employability, for a prestigious new international Handbook on Graduate Employability.
We are a group of editors contracted to publish ‘The SAGE Handbook of Graduate Employability.’
We would like to formally invite you to participate as a chapter contributor in this exciting project that we hope will be a landmark in the study of Graduate Employability in Higher Education.
Rationale for the Handbook
This book will be the first book offering a global and inclusive scholarly Account of Graduate Employability. Whilst there is an undoubtedly large amount of existing literature on Graduate Employability in Higher
Education, there is currently no singular concise volume offering thematic discussion of this literature.
We want academic, policy, careers, government, industry, student and alumni voices in this volume and welcome contribution submissions from all colleagues across the HE sector.
We’re pleased that the book is already under contract with SAGE, which plans to publish the book in the spring of 2022.
Next Steps
Can you please confirm if you are interested in
contributing a chapter, and if so we would like you to deliver
a title and abstract of between 300-500 words no later than the middle of March 2021. To confirm your interest in this please complete the following form:
SAGE Handbook of Graduate Employability (google.com)
Your completed form will be reviewed by the editors who will get back to you with feedback as soon as possible thereafter. The deadline for first drafts of chapters will be 30th June 2021.
Please complete the form linked above by 12th March 2021 for us to consider your chapter offer.
Yours sincerely,
Yuzhuo, Miriam, Emma, John, and Tanja
