This post is for a project aimed at developing a computational model that can predict which pre-school wheezers will develop asthma and elucidate dynamic patterns underlying progression of pre-school wheezing. The post holder will be based in the Department of Bioengineering on South Kensington campus.

We will develop a mechanistic model (in silico) by integrating clinical data (in vivo) and experimental data (in vitro), in collaboration with Professor Sejal Saglani (Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London). You will join the team of enthusiastic researchers including computational biologists, mathematicians, experimentalists and clinicians.

The main responsibilities of this post will include mechanistic modelling and machine learning analysis of clinical and experimental data. You will plan, lead and carry out a high-quality research programme in systems medicine.
