Thanks Kyeran,

Good to know our system is standard in that respect!

Hi Lowri,

Yes, in the default application field 1L is the parts_reference.lref field. It is the forward reference field used by the parts_reference (nt) field. Basically, it holds the priref to the child records in the hierarchy.

Kind Regards

Hi Lowri,

1L corresponds to parts_reference.lref, in our system.  So it stores the priref of records linked via the parts_reference field, used to build record hierarchies in collection records.

However our system is very heavily customised.  Can anyone else with a slightly less modified system confirm that this is the same in the standard application?

All the best,

Rob

Hello everyone,

A fairly simple question for a Wednesday afternoon. One of our archivist is searching for the Adlib field that has the tag 1L. I’m not entirely sure of the context around this search (he’s not part of this group so emailing on his behalf), but although searching for it in advanced search brings up quite a few records that include it, he can’t figure out exactly which field it is. Any suggestions?

Best wishes,

Lowri

Please note I am currently working four days a week, Mon-Thurs.
