Good afternoon SDF colleagues,

We are also looking to grow our group of internal coaches and at the start of looking into training providers for the Coaching Apprenticeship. 

I've seen there's quite a few replies around this which is great to hear others are looking at this too or have something similar already in place. If we could be included in recommendations and/or approaches which have worked for others that would be great.

Hi Maria

 

We are at the beginning of a similar journey and will be using our apprenticeship levy to develop a pool of internal coaches.  We’ve had discussions with several potential providers who can deliver the apprenticeship along with an ILM Level 5 coaching qualification, but not found the right one so far.  We’re speaking to a couple more in the new year and I’m hopeful we’ll find the right partner.  Happy to have a conversation off line with you if that would be helpful.

We'd like to have a 'bank' of internal coaches who could provide coaching to staff across the institution.

How have you approached this in your institutions? And, are there any providers that do-in-house training, that you can recommend (including value for money, please)
