I have some data in backing-store that the current version seems reluctant to access. The files are rather old - 1994. As I recall the format for backing-store files changed sometime later, and as I certainly didn't expect to ever need them again I didn't take the opportunity to save them in a newer format. Is there any way of retrieving the data?
