Change a computer? well, yes. The slice-to-volume was initially only implemented for Nvidia GPUs. The reason for that was that I considered it to slow to run meaningfully on a CPU. This is still true, though I am currently working on a CPU version that I hope will be fast enough to be meaningfully useful. So your best bet is to find a Linux machine with an Nvidia GPU set up. They are becoming increasingly common, with people using them for deep learning. So I suspect it will not be impossible to find. But also be aware that it is really quite a small subset of diffusion data that benefit from it. It tends to be mainly babies/children that move sufficiently for slice-to-vol to make a difference.
