Dear All,


We recently published a new paper (“Woodworking in the cliffs? Xylological
and morpho-technological analyses of wood remains in the Prehispanic
granaries of Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain)”) which focuses on
several analytical categories that can be applied to analyses of desiccated
wooden artefacts and fragments. This is a first morpho-technological
approach to Prehispanic wooden artefacts from the Canary Islands and it
will serve as a starting point for further experimental research in the
near future.
