(Sorry for cross-posting) Dear All, We recently published a new paper (“Woodworking in the cliffs? Xylological and morpho-technological analyses of wood remains in the Prehispanic granaries of Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain)”) which focuses on several analytical categories that can be applied to analyses of desiccated wooden artefacts and fragments. This is a first morpho-technological approach to Prehispanic wooden artefacts from the Canary Islands and it will serve as a starting point for further experimental research in the near future.
