Pivoting to online teaching during crisis using an engagement framework

Are you an academic working in higher education and transitioning, or supporting others to transition to working in the online teaching realm for the first time during the crisis? If so, we are keen for you to consider participating in study, ‘Pivoting to online teaching during crisis using an engagement framework’. The purpose of this project is to explore how academic’s employment of an Online Engagement Framework informs their support for online learner engagement. It is anticipated that the project will contribute to providing novice online educators, nationally and internationally, with an easy to use and accessible framework to support decision-making and strategies for online L&T.

The project involves: i) familiarising yourself with the ‘Online engagement framework’ (Link); ii) applying the principles and strategies to your own online teaching to enhance student engagement (for approx.. 2-3 months); and then iii) participating in a short online interview (approx. 30 minutes).  Please contact [log in to unmask] for further information, and or express your interest.
