Prime is not free; the Youtube version is. I mentioned the Prime version because it is excellent picture and sound quality; the Youtube version is not as good picture/sound-wise, but it's good enough for adequate viewing.

Just in case you don't know, the early 1990s film about architect Christopher Alexander, "Places for the Soul" (directed by film maker Ruth Landry) is now available on Amazon Prime, no charge. The film highlights two of Alexander's projects: the shelter for the homeless in San Jose, CA; and, the multi-building Eishen School campus outside Tokyo, by far Alexander's largest-scale project.
The film is interesting in that the Eishen client works well with Alexander, whereas Alexander and the San Jose client have considerable tussles.
A useful student introduction to Alexander's work, though I find that viewers are either touched deeply (I've had students cry) or think the whole idea nuts. Link is below.
