The RNCM is seeking to appoint two roles to join a research project funded by the Office for Students and Research England and in partnership with University of the Arts London and Central School of Speech and Drama, led at RNCM by Dr Michelle Phillips (https://www.rncm.ac.uk/news/rncm-receives-over-900000-to-develop-joint-project-supporting-students-professional-development/). The aims of this project are to develop broad, innovative and impactful ways of equipping students with skills in entrepreneurship, to increase student interaction with external partners, and to consider and shape frameworks for entrepreneurship relevant to the creative industries.

Post-Doctoral Research Assistant

Salary Grade: Grade 6a, SCP 24 to 27, £28,331 to £30,942 per annum (actual pro-rata salary £16,998.60 to £18,565.20 per annum)
Closing date: Midday Thursday 23rd July 2020
Interview date: Friday 31st July 2020

Part-time, 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE)
Two year fixed term contract commencing as soon as possible after 1st September 2020

The appointee will be required to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of activity designed to embed entrepreneurship skills in undergraduate students across all partner institutions. Evaluation methodology will be designed by the appointee in discussion with the Principal Investigator, and will evolve as the project progresses. Project Coordinator (full time, 2-year fixed term)

Salary Grade: Grade 5, SCP 20 to 23, £25,217 to £27,511 per annum

Interview date: Monday 3rd August 2020

Full-time, 35 hours per week
Two year fixed term contract commencing as soon as possible after 1st September 2020

The post-holder will be responsible for the overall coordination and day to day management of the project. They will administrate activity at the RNCM, and activity which involves all three partners. The post will suit an experienced and ambitious project coordinator with a strong track record of successful partnership liaison, excellent professional communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills, and a keen attention to detail.
