The minutes of that meeting are one of 600 historical documents
that have been posted on the website Zooniverse, a platform where
archives, research institutes and scholars can reach a broader audience
to analyze, decipher and transcribe documents. In other words, it’s a
platform that provides everyone with the option of playing the role of
historian. The project on military rule, initiated by the research
institute Akevot, which studies the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, offers
a taste of a harsh chapter in local history, including restrictions on
movement, expropriations of property, administrative arrests, curfews
and deportations.
