Hello Audience Finders!
Go make yourself a cuppa – you're going to want to read all of this... |
COVID-19 has accelerated change in all aspects of our lives as never before. In our recent survey, colleagues asked us to help them anticipate that change, looking particularly at what audiences and communities want next; how to harness digital; when and how to re-open; the new business models we need.
In response to the challenges that lock-down has thrown at our feet, we have created our Bounce Forwards COVID-19 Response Package to help you make informed decisions without needing to trawl lots of different online sources: news and research services are updated every week. |
|
Bounce Forwards | Evidence Hub Check here for regular updates into audience trends and behaviours as they change. You’ll find general insight about audiences and engagement, plus new opportunities to understand your own visitors and participants. Use the Hub to help you make informed decisions without needing to trawl lots of different online sources.

Bounce Forwards | Online Workshops Our new and growing COVID-19 workshop programme focuses on the challenges organisations tell us they are facing right now. Join us to learn about using data to anticipate audience behaviours, innovating in changed circumstances, and how to make digital opportunities work better for your organisation.

|

These guided series cover the 5 areas where we can help you most with the pressing challenges of the post-COVID-19 era and are informed by our decades of work on resilience and experience in the field.

A Change to Support Helpdesk Opening Hours |
As many people working in the arts sector are currently furloughed, we’ve seen a reduction in demand for our support services. We’ve therefore taken the difficult decision to reduce the hours that our in-person support is available.
Our magnificent support team – Nathan, Jess and Sophie – will be still on standby to answer your questions four days a week, Monday to Thursday, between the hours of 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
The team is still observing social distancing by working from home, but thanks to the wonders of Voice-over-IP, you can still contact the team via the usual support helpline (020 7260 2505) or raise a support ticket by emailing [log in to unmask]. |

Explore Your Knowledge Base |
Should you require support on a Friday (or, indeed, on any other day of the week) we encourage you to check out our online Knowledge Base, which is an ever-growing source of information on all things Audience Finder and Show Stats created by us, just for you. There you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions and detailed click-by-click guidance for many common tasks.
Sometimes we all need a little help in knowing where to start, so we thought we’d share with you the most popular Knowledge Base articles viewed in the last 30 days, as well as the latest articles to be added to the Knowledge Base. |

Beta – Next Generation Audience Insight Tools – Latest News |
We're building the next generation of audience insight tools for the arts & culture sector and we want you with us every step of the way. We want to make it easy for you to find the information you need the most and use it effectively to achieve your goals.
How can you use it today? If you already use Audience Finder and Show Stats, you're already registered for Beta. Depending on what data you have you can already: Instantly view and download an Arts Council England compliant audience report. See your ticketing and survey catchment areas. Get an overview of your Audience Spectrum profiles. Understand the Mosaic UK and Mosaic Scotland profiles of your audiences. Compare your audience profiles between two productions. Drill down to the local authority areas your bookers come from. Download your survey data.
Help Us Make Beta Better For You We are committed to direct consultation with you, our users, so that we can build a tool that reflects your needs, so in addition to the in-app survey, we also run one-to-one sessions. These sessions typically involve a 30-minute conversation with one of our researchers, without any preparation or follow up work required from you. It’s important to note that these sessions are a test of us, and our tool, and not at all a test of you or your knowledge. Through these sessions, we hope to learn both what you need, and how we can improve the tool for you. If you would be interested in helping us build the best Beta for you, please email [log in to unmask], and we would be happy to schedule a call at your earliest convenience.
English or Welsh? Choose The Language You Want To Work In Our new data-driven insight tool, Beta, is now bilingual, so you can choose to work in English or Welsh. We’ll be adding and improving features all the time, and we want you with us every step of the way. When you log in to Beta, you’ll see an in-app survey (towards the bottom of each page) where you can easily give us your suggestions and ideas on all aspects of the tool, including feedback on translation. That feedback is vital to us so we can build new features that are useful to you and make existing ones better.
As we are continually adding new features and insights to the tool, you may occasionally come across some sections in English within the Welsh-language pages. This will only happen when we are testing and refining new features with our users, and we will aim to translate new features and insights into Welsh within two weeks of rolling out the fully-tested version. |
