How much science learning can be built into the ARCHITECTURE?

This is where the money is! Everything from wind and sun meters to flume staircases to transparent toilets.

Parabolic sound telescopes. Others please brainstorm too!

Dear PSCI-COMM,

One of my partner, state funded secondary schools in Abingdon is refurbishing its science department and looking for ideas to incorporate inspiring, science related artwork/sculpture in the design of spaces in the building. If anybody had any ideas or suggestions for sources of funding or collaboration on such a project, the Head of Science at the school would be really interested in discussing them. Abingdon, if you know it, is situated almost in the centre of nationally important science facilities at Harwell, Culham and Oxford so opportunities in science and technology are right on the doorstep for young people in the area, yet take up of science subjects at the local, state funded schools is still incredibly low. If anybody can help with ideas for this project, please get in touch!

Thanks all and take care in present circumstances,

Jeremy
