Thanks Paula for that example. I have just managed to get access to the
publication manual for the 7th edition and it gives just two examples for
maps (which I seem to recall being an improvement on the previous edition,
although I may be wrong!).

The Google maps example in the APA manual is: Google. (n.d.). [Google Maps
directions for driving from La Paz, Bolivia, to Lima, Peru]. Retrieved
February 16, 2020, from https://goo.gl/YYE3GR

This differs in style from the Murdoch example: Google Maps. (2015,
February 5). *The British Library, London, UK*. Google.

All very confusing. I can see why my colleagues are tearing their hair out
trying to make sense of it all.

Best wishes,

David
