Thank you so much for the suggestions and conversation around a survey for schools. At GEM we have been developing training to support museums to engage with Schools and families remotely with the help of members and reps and I agree that its really important for us to work collaboratively at this time, for example with our contacts at Learning Outside the Classroom whose membership includes many schools.
I think the suggestion of convening a Gemmers meeting as a first step is an excellent one and I hope that everyone who has commented will be able to join in with this. Thanks also for offers of help and support. GEM has limited capacity so we really appreciate your help!
We will suggest a time - hopefully next week to take this forward.
