It strikes me that this is the sort of thing we ought to be doing as a whole museum/heritage learning body. How many museums are separately planning research like this? (Rhetorical question) I know that we are. Could we get together as GEM and send out a
survey to schools about what they imagine their position to be for the autumn term, what they want from us, how much technology they want to use, when they might start visiting again, the financial position, etc? It seems rather daft for dozens of us to be
doing the same thing all over the country right now, when what we need to know is fairly similar and could be shared.
