Can you help us tell Our Crofton Story?
Learning and Community Engagement Officer
(Flexible Hours 8,000 p.a. for a two year contract)
We are nearing the end of a major project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund,
to conserve and re present the early 19th century pumping station at Crofton, near
Marlborough home to the oldest working beam engine in the world that is still in its original
location and capable of performing the task for which it was installed.
We are now looking to recruit a part time Learning and Community Engagement Officer to
help us develop our links with schools and the local community, bringing new 21s t century
audiences to this historic site.
You will work with the Site General Manager and volunteers at Crofton, and will be a team
player with experience of working with adults and children in formal and/or informal
settings.
