Dear Gemmers,

If you work with a set of schools in a sustained way, please could you share with me what works well with this model and what issues you have with it?

And if you chose to set up this kind of associate-school model, why was that? Also basic details like, what kind of agreement do you have with the schools and how long do you both commit to working together?

It’s something we are considering and I’m going have a good look at the pros- and cons. We currently have programmes that are targeted and programmes that are responsive. In both there are schools we work with year on year as well as those that come and go, but nothing formal apart from one 3-year partnership with a primary school where we agreed to do something termly, and even with just one school it proved tricky to stay on track, e.g. with staff changes on both sides.

Thank you and best wishes,

Celine
