Dear ARC APG colleagues I hope you are all surviving in these challenging times and your C&C plans are coming along nicely. We are receiving enquiries from applicants who will not be able to provide exam results before the start of the next academic year because (for example) either: a) they are a private/external candidate and their school or college have told them they do not have sufficient evidence to allocate a calculate grade; or b) they are an Access to HE Diploma applicant whose exam results won't be moderated before the next academic year Obviously these two situations are outside the applicant's control, so I would be very interested to hear how your institution is responding to these matters. For example, are you accepting private candidates based on predicted grades? Are you allowing students to enrol late? Do your UG programmes have a January intake? Any advice would be gratefully received.
