Dear Stephen

Thank you for this, and sorry t have missed it at the weekend. We would be very pleased to have earlier evidence for any of the names we've analysed. I can be found at the e:-address buried in my footer.

Best regards

Subject: Re: [EPNL] Surname Dictionary

I was very please to see temporary free access to the Surname Directory having previously unsuccessfully tried to log in via my National Library of Wales readers card.

I was interested in two surnames:- SPAREY and DENNING – which are names I have researched in my own family history and have earlier references to the names and in other geographical areas than  those noted.

Would this information be of interest to the compilers of the Dictionary, and what would be the best method of forwarding this to them?

I assume not via this mailing list !

Thanks.

Stephen Emlyn-Jones
