Subject: [Newsletters] [ZOOARCH] Articulated Camel Remains

Dear Zooarch:

During the field investigations at the site of Mikhmoret (Israel) in the 1980's, it was reported then that the camel remains they discovered represented the earliest instance (4th-3rd century BCE) of articulated camel skeletons in the Near East. Is this still the case? Is anybody aware of earlier examples of articulated camels from the region?

I hope everyone is keeping safe, healthy, and sane.
