Worth obtaining the book the club produced some years back. Seems to be widely available second hand e.g. https://www.worldofbooks.com/en-gb/books/and-bower-web/complete-catalogue-of-british-cigarette-cards/GOR001969996?keyword=&gclid=Cj0KCQjw7qn1BRDqARIsAKMbHDbuSQf_sDTODsCqFI8JXLAditF2yqa-yp4FX_NP4Wx00s581Ty41Z4aAqwVEALw_wcB

Claire - I deposited some Ogden guard books and images at the Liverpool Record Office a few years back – might be worth looking these out.

Hi Dominic,

I am undertaking research into cigarette cards for Ogden’s and have been looking for trustworthy sources. I will certainly look into the Cigarette Card Collectors Club (thanks Andy).

Hi Dominic

We have pretty extensive collections in Bristol – almost all the cards for Imperial Tobacco constituent companies like Wills and Players were printed here and we have some good background material about them. There’s also the Cigarette Card Collectors Club which has published lots about the dating and valuation of cards.

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone knows of collections which focus on cigarette cards. tea cards and/or brand loyalty programmes. I'm doing some research into them to improve our collection catalogue and finding a definite and trustworthy source for the subject is not easy.

Any help gratefully received.

Best regards, Dominic
