Hi Gill….that’s because it wasn’t there! I saw the HSJ story this morning on Twitter: their tweet, which flagged it as an exclusive, is time stamped 8:23. I went to PICS (and elsewhere) to try to find it, but it was not there. It appeared sometime this afternoon, I’m sure

Thanks, Mark. Frustrating isn’t it?  I’ve sent on to my clinicians ‘as is’ for awareness but would really like something more concrete.

 

It is likely to be in individual case reports but I notice the COVID-19: paediatric surveillance guidance also came out today so maybe the two are related.

This is the letter apparently sent to GPs by the CCG (again, found on twitter), with a slight lack of contact detail for an official communication on letterhead. It'd be good to see this confirmed outside social media... or maybe they could just try harder to make their official communications NOT look like something questionable. Obviously all the papers have picked it up, but they are all reconfirming the same posting (and HSJ report of it) and building it in to a news story.

It may be news, maybe it's not yet evidence.

I picked up the items below from HSJ (and other newspapers this morning).  The Tweets imply there has been something sent out from NHS England and NHS North Central London CCG – but can anyone find an actual copy?
