italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies

Dear colleagues, I would be grateful if you could direct suitable candidates to the announcement below:

The Centre for the Study of the Renaissance, widely recognised for its active research culture and excellence in teaching, offers a one-year taught Master of Arts degree (MA in the Culture of the European Renaissance). It is the only Renaissance MA in the UK to include a full university term in Venice. This MA provides a foundation in the art, literature, philosophy, religion, and science of the fourteenth to the seventeenth century, exploring their interconnections with the social and political context. Strongly interdisciplinary, this MA is mainly taught by academics from the departments of Classics, English & Comparative Literature, History, History of Art and the School of Modern Languages & Cultures (French, Italian and Hispanic Studies).

For 2020/21 the Warwick’s CSR is offering three part-fees scholarships to outstanding applicants from overseas (in other words, who are neither British nor EU citizens). One of these will cover up to 50% of the tuition fees; the other two will cover the fees up to 35%. Applications for funding will be due by midnight on Monday, 1 June.

Applicants must, by the deadline, have applied for a place and have uploaded all necessary documents. One reference letter (typically from an academic) must also have been supplied. You may apply for either the full-time or part-time version of the degree, but funding is expected to cover one year only.
