Dear Recipients, Please note that high-quality anthropological (including archaeological and biological) papers with an economic focus are still being sought for volume 41 of Research in Economic Anthropology (REA). Publication of the volume was originally expected to occur during the first half of 2021, but will likely be delayed due to disruptions caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic. Empirical analyses are generally preferred, but creative theoretical papers not grounded in a specific set of original “field” data may also be considered. “Review of the literature” articles are generally not desired, but may be accepted for consideration in rare cases. Deadline: April 1, 2020 The search will end when the volume is full. In principle, submitted manuscripts should be under 11,000 words in length, and should be sent directly to the editor (Donald Wood) as MS Word email attachments. All figures and tables, with captions, should be included in the document (regarding figures, low-resolution photographs/maps are adequate for the initial submission). An abstract of 100-200 words is necessary, and all works cited should be included in a references section at the end. Self-identification should be avoided if possible. Having made its debut under the editorship of George Dalton in 1978, REA is the longest-running peer-reviewed series exclusively devoted to economic anthropology. Volumes are published as hardcover books, but the contents of each volume are available electronically on Emerald Insight, at: https://www.emerald.com/insight/publication/issn/0190-1281 <https://www.emerald.com/insight/publication/issn/0190-1281> Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Donald Wood _____________________________________________________ Donald C.
