The Planning Inspectorate has a long and proud history of ensuring a fair planning system by acting as the appellate body for planning decisions in England and Wales and the national consenting authority for National Infrastructure. The work we do has a significant impact on the economy, people's live and the communities that they live in.

The Data and Performance team have a clear aim to create a culture of using data and insight to drive improvements across the whole organisation. We work closely with managers and senior leaders to ensure that they have the insight they need in order to make evidence-based decisions.

We are looking for someone who will enjoy visualising and engaging with telling the story using analysis of data, to connect with managers across the Inspectorate.

If you want a role where you can extract, analyse and interpret large amounts of data from a range of sources, using algorithmic, data mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning and statistical tools, in order to make it accessible to the Inspectorate and our customers then this is a great role for you.
