For my 2 cents worth: its difficult to tell from the illustration, but 2 at least does look more like a canid than the thylacine teeth in these pics: https://shorthand.uq.edu.au/small-change/is-the-thylacine-really-extinct/

I don't suppose the originals are at the back of a museum drawer somewhere?
