Good afternoon,

I would like to hear from other organisations that use Iron Mountain's IM Connect to manage their offsite storage, and particularly those that use record codes to assign retention periods to boxes.

Five months ago we set up our IM Connect so that all boxes sent to storage have a retention period to them. Now I'd like to begin shortening some of these retention periods, and change disposal to 'review' rather than 'destroy'. In the event that the outcome of this review is to extend the storage period, how to implement this, in practical terms? Out of a dozen retention periods we have 4 that are indefinite; I would like to change them to 7 years + review.

Would appreciate any information related to the use of IM Connect, and will share information with this list.
