Thanks for the background on *Fathon*, Jonathan. I'll check out the
*Prospect* item with interest.

I was alarmed myself when I noticed they were touting a forthcoming
contribution by Philip Mendes, whose book, *Boycotting Israel is wrong: the
progressive path to peace between Palestinians and Israelis*, is a lame
attempt at anti-BDS propaganda that I reviewed
<https://bureauofcounterpropaganda.blogspot.com/2017/06/the-defeat-of-straw-men.html>
some time ago.

It's not obvious why John would want to draw such a thing to the attention
of the list when to all appearances it's not even tangentially related to
anything being discussed here?
