Some academics have paid fees before checking with the library and these journals although looked like the editors are real, they sometimes are using academics names without them knowing. Does anyone know if there is an online list of journal which charge these fees, either as a whole or publisher specific? I hadn't heard of these fees before, and so far we have only identified a few journal titles which charge this (mostly Elsevier titles so far), but we have been asked if it is possible to provide details of which journals will ask for submission fees, to go alongside the page on our website outlining our current APC offers and deals.
