Hi All,

If anyone wants them, I’ve got  video-narrated lectures for a course entitled ‘Basin Analysis; structural style, seismic expression, and petroleum systems’. Suitable for upper-level UG through to postgraduate. I’ve also got numerous pen-and-paper based seismic-stratigraphy practicals. Email me direct if you’d like them.

Thanks!

Chris

Hi Ben, Hello everyone

Thank you. Very generous and highly collegial move.

Our University has just announced cancelation of all in-person classes for the rest of the term (no covid-19 case in our province, yet).  We were also asked to develop on-line classes.

One of the challenges will be to hold the final exams. I tried once an on-line, open book exam via Blackboard. It was a disaster.

Does anyone have good examples and positive experience?

Greetings to all and stay healthy.

Djordje

In support of the challenges for many that suddenly go online with their class, we are making access to the online text "Processes in Structural Geology & Tectonics" free to all users.

The built-in Google language translation function makes it easy for anybody around the world to use the material.  Read the Preface for other supporting info.

(I expect that we will be able to offer free access to an updated version of PSG&T in the future; stay tuned for announcement)
