Subject: Take the Temperature - COVID19, tell us what's happening

Hello,

Hope you are keeping well in this challenging time.

Beatfreeks are currently mobilising a piece of responsive research into how COVID-19 has affected the lives of young people (14 - 25) across the UK [It’s called Take the Temperature (#TaketheTemp)] and wondered if you could help spread the word with young people you work with. Please find below a template email, Instagram, Twitter and WhatsApp post.

If possible, please:

- share with any members of staff within the demographic bracket (aged 14 - 25)

- share with any young people you are in contact with directly

- share via social media channels.

We're trying to make as much noise as possible today for our launch, so if you could share ASAP it would be a big help.

There are three main ways young people can get involved:

Take the Temperature Questionaire - quick online questionnaire which takes 4-5 minutes to complete. [open 25 Mar - 8 Apr]

Drop Your Thoughts - a space on WhatsApp where young people can send us anything about their experience of COVID-19. Pictures, memes, voice notes, messages, artistic responses. [open 25 Mar - 13 Apr]

The Isolation Diaries - we want to work with ten people across the UK to give diary entries about their experiences of the pandemic over the course of a two week period. There will be a £100 bursary per person available for participation. Register interest and more info at the link. [Apply now, 30 Mar - 13 Apr]

Think the panic is all hype? Think we need to take it more seriously? Believe the global conspiracies? Self-isolating? Bored? Angry? Inspired? Take the Temperature asks what you think about Coronavirus and its impact on your life.
