Greetings all, Last July Alfredo Saad Fihlo and I launched a new book series focusing on soon to be granted PhDs and early career scholars, whose research falls into broadly defined political economy. We distributed information to our respective networks world-wide met with surprising enthusiasm, and we now have contracts for project from almost 30 early career scholars from around the world (only 3 come from North America and Canada). We have created a broad guideline to help recent PhDs turn their document into publishable monographs. If anyone on this list either feels they qualify, have recent students they would like to promote, or know of early career scholars (or past student) whose work fits within this scope, we would be interested in hearing from them. More information on the focus of this new series (as well as the more established series with over 165 books in print) can be found on the links below. One advantage of these series is that one year after the Brill hardcover (very expensive!) book is published they will be released as a paperback by Haymarket books at a very reasonably discounted price. Haymarket aggressively attends left and progressive conferences and events to promote the books in our series.
