We are currently advertising for a CRC Services Manager, based at the Centre for Research Collections (Special Collections)
at the University of Edinburgh. This is a part time (25hrs per week), open-ended post, salary £23,067 to £26,715 (pro rata).
The Centre for Research Collections has a vacancy for a CRC Services Supervisor in Special Collections. The CRC service has seen unprecedented growth in the past 3 years, and you will be a key part of providing high quality access to
the University’s rare and unique collections such as archives and rare books, through a user-focused service to students, staff and international researchers. You will have supervisory experience and excellent enquiry handling skills. As part of the CRC User
Services Team, you will support the CRC Services Manager to ensure team members are empowered and motivated to deliver the best service possible.
The post is for 25 hours per week. We support flexible working opportunities within service requirements, and the working pattern will be agreed on appointment. The CRC is a supportive, people-focused workplace, with staff development
opportunities in addition to the University’s policies and benefits. The post is based at the Centre for Research Collections (Main Library, George Square) with occasional working days at the University Collections Facility, School of Scottish Studies Archives,
St Cecilia’s Hall Museum and other central Edinburgh sites as required. This is an open-ended post.
