I would also be keen to find out if this service is available anywhere. We used to have access to such blocking tubes but have found them increasingly difficult to source and very costly if only using for an infrequent odd result.

Thanks,

Gareth

Subject: Heterophilic antibody blocking tubes

Dear Mailbase,

Does anyone offer/know a lab that uses heterophilic antibody blocking tubes? We are investigating a suspicious folate result and are having it sent away for 5-MTHF by HPLC, but wanted to rule out antibody interference also.

Many thanks,
Henry
