Deputy Information Compliance Manager (Vacancy reference: 051469)
The University of Edinburgh Records Management Section is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual with knowledge and experience of records management, freedom of information and
other information legislation to support information legislation compliance in the University.
The post-holder will manage a case load of information requests (primarily freedom of information requests and subject access requests) efficiently and effectively in line with the legislation,
best practice, and University procedures. They will also contribute to the support of improved records management practice and the provision of information legislation advice and guidance.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate a highly organised and methodical approach to their work, excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, numeracy and a keen attention
to detail.
This is a full-time post – 35 hours per week. Salary range: £28,331 to £32,816 (UE06 grade).
